Tree Trimming

At Price Right, we provide the safest equipment and hire only professionals to do the services we provide. We are also a fully insured company and our goal is safety for not only our crew but for every customer.

Tree Trimming

Includes using ANSI standard methods to properly prune your trees. There are 4 main types of tree pruning. Crown cleaning is pruning out the deadwood or diseased limbs in the canopy. Crown thinning is lightly pruning out the interior limbs, crossing and rubbing limbs in the canopy. This is usually done to increase light in the yard for grass, and help wind to better flow through the canopy to decrease the chances of storm damage. Crown Raising is elevating the low limbs to provide clearance and increase visibility. Crown Reduction is lightly thinning out the top of a tree to reduce the overall height and size of the top of the canopy. This does not include topping.

Crown Raising Crown Raising or Lifting involves elevating any lower limbs that are causing obstruction. We do this by either removing whole branches or those parts that extend below the desired clear heights to provide clearance under the tree. GOOD FOR Lower tree branches that may be obstructing a footpath, street or house.

We do this by reducing the crown area from the tips of the branches being careful to retain the natural shape of the tree species. GOOD FOR Maintaining over-grown trees.

Crown Thinning Crown thinning is lightly pruning out the interior limbs, crossing and rubbing limbs in the canopy. This is usually done to increase light in the yard for grass and help wind to better flow through the canopy to decrease the chances of storm damage. We will leave the tree with an overall, even density of foliage around a well spaced and balanced branch structure to encourage natural re-growth. GOOD FOR Preventing wind damage. Creating more natural light on your property, garden or lawn.

Crown Cleaning Crown cleaning is pruning out the deadwood or diseased limbs in the canopy of the tree. We also remove stumps of broken branches, unwanted shoots, climbing plants such as ivy, and any rubbish accumulated in branch forks. GOOD FOR A crown clean is done for safety reasons, as it is far safer for the crown of the tree to only hold live wood.
